We opened Istanbul Mediterranean 2 at 505 Fremont Street because Downtown Las Vegas deserved a full Turkish dining room—not just a quick counter, but a place to sit down, share plates, and stay a while. This is the second home for our family’s cooking, built with the same 100% Zabiha Halal standards and the same belief that guests should feel looked after from the moment they walk in.
If you already know us from the Grand Bazaar Shops on the Strip, think of Fremont as the expanded edition: more menu, more room, more hours, and a neighborhood energy that matches how we like to eat in Istanbul—unhurried, generous, and around a table.
Why we chose Fremont East
Fremont East sits at the crossroads of locals, night-shift workers, visitors, and regulars who want real food after midnight. That mix is exactly why Turkish cuisine fits here. Doner isn’t only lunch—it’s comfort after a long shift. Pide isn’t only dinner—it’s something to split with friends when the night is still going. We wanted a kitchen that could serve breakfast through last call, without compromising on how the food is prepared.
Our address is easy to find: 505 Fremont Street, in the Fremont East District. Whether you’re walking from a hotel, catching a show nearby, or winding down after work, you’re never far from a hot meal and a pot of tea.
What’s different from our Strip location?
Both locations share the same heart: authentic Turkish flavors and Halal integrity. What changes in Downtown is the experience.
| Fremont (Istanbul 2) | Strip (Grand Bazaar) |
|---|---|
| Full table service | Quick-serve model |
| Expanded menu (Kahvalti, lahmacun, pide, bakery) | Focused street-food style menu |
| Larger dining room, booths, open kitchen | Compact, high-traffic setting |
| Late-night until 2 AM (5 AM Fri–Sat) | Hours suited to mall traffic |
If you’re planning a slow breakfast, a family dinner, or a late plate after the bars, Fremont is built for that rhythm.
What to order first
Everyone’s entry point is different. If you want a crash course in our kitchen, start here:
- Doner & rice or salad — Our beef and lamb doner is stacked, sliced to order, and seasoned the way we grew up eating it. Try it as a plate or wrap, then level up to Iskender Kebab when you’re ready for the full saucy-yoghurt-butter experience.
- Lahmacun — Paper-thin, crisp at the edge, eaten rolled with parsley, onion, and lemon. It’s street food elevated without losing its soul.
- Turkish breakfast — Our Kahvalti is a table-sized spread: cheeses, olives, honey, jams, eggs, simit, and tea that keeps coming. It’s the meal we recommend when you want to understand Turkish hospitality in one sitting. Read more on our dedicated Turkish breakfast page.
- Pide — Often called “Turkish pizza,” though the dough and toppings follow their own rules. Cheesy, boat-shaped, and ideal for sharing—see Turkish Pide.
Browse every category on our full menu, including vegetarian options like menemen, falafel, hummus, and meat-free pide.
Halal, explained the way we live it
“Halal” isn’t a label we slap on a sign—it’s how we run the kitchen every day.
If you have questions about a specific plate or allergy, ask your server. We’re happy to walk you through ingredients—clarity is part of hospitality.
Parking, rideshare, and groups
Parking: Downtown has metered street parking on Fremont and nearby blocks, plus garages within a short walk. If you’re visiting on a busy weekend night, budget a few extra minutes to find a spot—or arrive a little earlier and enjoy tea first.
Rideshare: Drop-off at 505 Fremont is straightforward; we’re right on the corridor most drivers know.
Large parties: For six or more, calling ahead helps us reserve the right tables in our dining room. Walk-ins are always welcome when space allows—see our FAQ on the homepage for the latest on reservations.
Late night on Fremont
Downtown doesn’t sleep on the same schedule as the suburbs. Neither do we. When other kitchens are closing, we’re often still firing pide, doner plates, and Turkish tea for guests who want something satisfying—not just another slice of generic late-night food.
If you work nights on or near Fremont, consider this your standing invitation: real food, Halal integrity, and a dining room that’s still lit when you get off shift.
Plan your visit
- Check the menu and pick a few dishes to share.
- Note our hours (above)—especially Friday–Saturday if you’re out past 2 AM.
- Bring friends, or come solo and chat with our team at the table—we’re proud of where we’re from and what we serve.
We’re grateful to be part of Fremont’s food scene. Whether it’s your first visit or your tenth, hoş geldiniz—welcome. We’ll save you a seat.
