The Art of Turkish Breakfast
in Las Vegas
A centuries-old morning ritual. Fresh cheeses, olives, honey, eggs, and endless Turkish tea — now in Downtown Las Vegas.
More than a meal
What is Kahvalti?
The Turkish word for breakfast — and a morning tradition that has brought families together for centuries
The Ritual of Kahvalti
In Turkish, kahvalti literally means "before coffee" — but it's so much more than a meal before your morning cup. It's a centuries-old ritual of gathering, sharing, and savoring. In Istanbul, families and friends spend hours at the breakfast table on weekends, passing plates of fresh cheese, dipping warm bread into honey, and pouring glass after glass of Turkish tea.
This isn't fast food. This isn't brunch with bottomless mimosas. Kahvalti is a deliberate, joyful pause — a moment to connect before the day begins.
The Spread
A true Turkish breakfast is a composed experience. Your table fills with small plates — each one a story of Turkish culinary tradition. Creamy ezine cheese from the Aegean. Briny olives cured in the Mediterranean sun. Golden honey drizzled over clotted cream (kaymak). Pastirma, the air-dried cured beef that's been perfected over centuries. Fresh-baked simit — the iconic sesame bread ring. And always, always, a tulip-shaped glass of Turkish tea.
Every ingredient is chosen with care. Every plate is placed with intention. The result is a breakfast that nourishes not just the body, but the soul.

From Istanbul to Fremont Street
When we opened Istanbul Mediterranean 2 on Fremont Street, we knew we had to bring the full kahvalti experience to Downtown Las Vegas. Our Strip location serves incredible doner — but Fremont is where we could finally offer the complete Turkish dining experience, from morning to late night.
Our breakfast is exclusive to the Fremont location, prepared fresh every morning by Chef Adem using recipes passed down through his family. Whether you choose the Single Breakfast Plate for a perfect introduction or the Double Plate to share with someone you love, you're experiencing the same breakfast that families enjoy in Istanbul's neighborhood cafes.
